Amar Hodžić (born 22 September 1989), known by his stage name Buba Corelli (Buba Koreli) is a Bosnian rapper known for his fast paced delivery.

Career

As a teenager, Hodžić was a member of the Sarajevo underground hip hop group G-Recordz. He began rapping around 2004, even recording his first song with a friend in a group called the Corelli Duo, where his stage name comes from.[1] When the Corelli duo broke up, Hodžić didn't rap again until 2009, when he began work with G-Recordz again.

Soon Hodžić took the stage name Buba Corelli and met Jasmin Fazlić, known as Jala Brat. The two began collaborating recording the EP Sin City, released in March 2013.[2] Their collaborative studio album Deal with the Devil was released 13 December 2014 and featured several hit singles including "Bez tebe", "22" and "Borba".[3][4][5]

Personal life

Corelli was hit on the back of the head with a glass bottle in a Doboj nightclub in June 2016 while performing. [6] Three individuals were arrested for the attack.
