Brzeźce [ˈbʐɛɕt͡sɛ] (German: Brzezetz, 1932-45: Birken) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Bierawa, within Kędzierzyn-Koźle County, Opole Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Bierawa, 3 km (2 mi) south of Kędzierzyn-Koźle, and 43 km (27 mi) south-east of the regional capital Opole.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 633.
