Learning valuable tricks of the trade from his father, a meticulous aircraft engineer, Baeumler spent his childhood summers building his family's cottage from the ground up. At the age of 14, Baeumler opened his own handyman business doing odd jobs for neighbors.[1]

He received his B.A. in Political Science and Business from the University of Western Ontario in 1996.[2]

Starring duties

Bryan Inc.

Bryan Inc. premiered on HGTV Canada in Fall 2016, replacing House of Bryan on the schedule. The show focuses on Bryan pairing with his wife to buy properties, renovate or replace (new build) the houses, and then sell them at a profit. In the first season, they buy two properties, one selected by each of them, and then Bryan's Baeumler Construction company crews rebuild the homes, which they then sell.[12][13]

Bryan had a personal assistant during this time. Evan Woodcock was known to film crews as his right hand man. Family is very important to Bryan during filming.

Awards

Baeumler won the Gemini Award for "Best Host in a Lifestyle/Practical Information, or Performing Arts Program or Series" for his presenting work.

Family

Baeumler and wife Sarah Baeumler (March 26, 1978) [14] have four children: Quintyn Werner, Charlotte Anne, Lincoln Wolfgang, and Josephine Judith.[14]
