Bruce Cassiday

Bruce Cassiday (1920–2005) was an American author and editor. He was born on January 25, 1920, in Los Angeles, California, and attended UCLA. Among his pseudonyms were Con Steffanson, Annie Laurie McAllister, Annie Laurie McMurdie, Mary Ann Drew, C.K. Fong. He also collaborated with other authors. [1]

He was married to Doris Galloway during 1950, and they had a son and a daughter. He died in Stamford, Connecticut, on January 12, 2005, of Parkinson's disease, from which he had suffered since 1999.[1]

Cassiday was an author and editor of pulp magazine fiction, suspense and espionage stories, Gothics, medical melodramas, radio and television dramas and novelizations, "how-to" books on landscaping, home carpentry, solar houses, ghostwritten biographies, and reader's guides on detective, mystery and science-fiction literature.
