Brooks Lee Raley (born June 29, 1988) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Lotte Giants of the KBO League. He previously played for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Career

Chicago Cubs

Raley attended Uvalde High School in Uvalde, Texas, and Texas A&M University, where he played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies.[1] The Chicago Cubs selected Raley in the sixth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball draft.[2] The Cubs promoted Raley to the major leagues for the first time on August 7, 2012.[3]

Minnesota Twins

On February 12, 2014, he was claimed off waivers by the Minnesota Twins.[4]

Los Angeles Angels

He was then designated for assignment by the Twins and claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim on May 8.[5]

Lotte Giants

On December 14, 2014, Raley signed a contract with the Lotte Giants, a team in the KBO League based in Busan.[6] Raley remained with the Giants in 2016, and signed a one-year, $850,000 contract for the 2017 season on January 8, 2017.[7]
