Bronwen Dickey is the author of Pit Bull: The Battle over an American Icon and a contributing editor at The Oxford American.[1][2][3][4] She was a finalist for the National Magazine Award in feature writing and the Lowell Thomas Award.[5] Her book generated controversy, and she received death threats.[6][7]
