British Society for the History of Pharmacy

The British Society for the History of Pharmacy is the organisation in the United Kingdom devoted to the history of pharmacy.[1] It was established in 1967, although its roots date back to 1952, when the Council of the Pharmaceutical Society established a history of pharmacy committee. The society has published a journal, the Pharmaceutical Historian, since 1967.[2] It is affiliated to the British Society for the History of Medicine. The President of the society is Peter Homan.
