Bringing Back the Funk is a studio album by Brian Culbertson which was released in 2008 on GRP Records. Bringing Back the Funk rose to numbers three and 18 upon the Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop and Jazz Albums charts respectively.[3][4][1]
Overview
The album was produced by Culbertson and executively produced by Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire.[1]
Featured upon the album are artists such as Bootsy Collins, Larry Dunn, Maceo Parker, Musiq Soulchild, Larry Graham, Ledisi and Gerald Albright.[5][1]
The album cut Always Remember got to no. 1 upon the Billboard Smooth Jazz Songs chart.[6]
