Brendan "Bren Gun" Hill is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played as a prop for Leeds, Bradford Northern, Halifax, and Keighley. He also played at representative level for Yorkshire.

County Cup Final appearances

Brendan Hill played right-prop, i.e. number 10, in Bradford Northern's 12-12 draw with Castleford in the 1987 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1987–88 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 17 October 1987, and played right-prop, scored a try, and was man of the match (the White Rose Trophy was not presented as it had already been awarded to Paul Harkin in the original Final ) in the 11-2 victory over Castleford in the 1987 Yorkshire County Cup Final replay during the 1987–88 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Saturday 31 October 1987.

Regal Trophy Final appearances

Brendan Hill played left-prop, i.e. number 8, in Halifax's 12-24 defeat by Wigan in the 1989–90 Regal Trophy Final during the 1989–90 season at Headingley Rugby Stadium, Leeds on Saturday 13 January 1990.[1]

Club career

Hill signed for Halifax in January 1989 for a fee of £90,000,[2] (based on increases in average earnings, this would be approximately £251,800 in 2014).[3]
