Career

Mallorca

Born in Santanyí, Majorca, Balearic Islands through an English father and a Spanish mother, Brandon is a product of RCD Mallorca's youth system. On 12 December 2012, without even appearing for the reserves, he made his professional debut, coming on as a late substitute for Alejandro Alfaro in a 0–5 home loss against Sevilla FC, for the season's Copa del Rey.[1]

On 15 December Brandon made his La Liga debut, again from the bench in a 0–1 away defeat against Athletic Bilbao.[2] On 9 January of the following year he scored his first professional goal, netting his team's first in a 2–1 away victory against Sevilla also for the national cup.[3]

Brandon scored his first league goal on 24 May 2015, netting the first in a 2–4 away loss against Albacete Balompié for the Segunda División championship.[4] In July 2015, he was definitely promoted to the main squad by manager Albert Ferrer.[5]

On 28 January 2016, Brandon renewed his contract until 2019.[6] On 4 June, he scored a brace in a 3–1 win at Real Valladolid, being the club's top goalscorer during the campaign with six goals as his side narrowly avoided relegation.[7]

On 9 October 2016, Brandon scored a hat-trick in a 3–0 home win against SD Huesca,[8] later being named Segunda División Player of the Month.[9] He was sent off on 18 December at half time in a 3–1 loss at CD Numancia for protesting with the referee;[10] the season ended with relegation.

Rennes

On 10 July 2017, Brandon signed a three-year deal with French side Stade Rennais FC.[11] He did not take to the field in their first seven matches of the Ligue 1 season, and only played once in that time for the reserves in the fifth division.[12] He made his debut on 25 October in the third round of the Coupe de la Ligue, starting and assisting Adrien Hunou's winning goal in a 2–1 victory at Dijon FCO. Three days later, in his first league game, he scored the only goal at Montpellier HSC.[13]
