Bossy Bear is a fictional character written and illustrated by David Horvath, the co-creator of the popular Uglydoll brand.

In his picture book debut, Bossy Bear, Horvath depicted an unusual children's book character, one that is very bossy. The character's main characteristic is that he wants everything his way and he wants it immediately.

The style of art used for Bossy Bear is similar to that in Horvath's Uglydoll universe yet unique in its own way, with bold graphic art and simple hilarious text through which young readers can recognize their own bossy tendencies.

Other characters that make up the Bossy Bear world include Turtle, Crocodoca, Reindeer and Bissy.
