Bonwire is a town which originated the best and most popular cloth in the whole of Africa.The cloth is poularly known as "Kente".The Kente is supremly worn by the king of the great Ashanti Kingdom in Ghana West Africa. Ejisu-Juaben Municipal district, a district of the Ashanti Region of Ghana.[1]

History

Bonwire is the home of the famous Akan Kente cloth.[2]

Education

Bonwire is also known for the Bonwire Secondary Technical School.[3] The school is a second cycle institution.[4]
