Robert Gould Jay (born November 18, 1965 in Burlington, Massachusetts) is an American former professional ice hockey player and coach who played for the Los Angeles Kings in the National Hockey League (NHL). After his playing career ended Jay turned to coaching, most notably as an assistant to Ted Donato at Harvard University 2004-07 and again from 2009-11.[1] He has been an assistant coach for the US Women's National Hockey team through several campaigns[2] including the Sochi Olympics where the US Women won a Silver medal.[3] Jay currently is head coach for the NWHL Boston Pride.[4]
