Robert (Bob) Forgione (1929–1994) was an American comic book and comic strip artist, best known for his work for publishers DC, Charlton and Fawcett during the 1950s. Forgione was credited as a penciller for the first appearance of Ant-Man in comics (Tales to Astonish #27).[1] He also drew for Dell's Lassie and Silvertip. Forgione is credited with ties to 124 comic books.[2] During the period of 1962–1963, Forgione worked as an uncredited penciller for the comic strip The Phantom alongside credited artist Sy Barry.[3]
