Blue Amazon
The Blue Amazon (Portuguese: A Amazônia Azul) is an offshore area of 3.5m square km on the Brazilian coast, rich in marine biodiversity and energy resources. The Brazilian government has asserted its sovereignty over this area as an exclusive economic zone. [1][2]
