The blue-headed sapphire (Hylocharis grayi) is a species of hummingbird in the family Trochilidae. It is found in Colombia and Ecuador. It formerly included the Humboldt's sapphire as a subspecies. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical mangrove forest, and heavily degraded former forest.
