Blood on the Land (Greek: Το χώμα βάφτηκε κόκκινο, translit. To Homa vaftike kokkino) is a 1966 Greek drama film directed by Vasilis Georgiadis. Its subject is conflict between landowners and agricultural workers in the early 20th cwentury. It was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.[1]
