Blippar is the name of a technology company that specializes in augmented reality and of the mobile app it makes.[3] The company was founded in London[4] and has offices in Singapore, India[5] and the United States.[6] It created the first augmented-reality digital ad platform.[4][7] The Blippar app lets users look at real-world objects enhanced with text and digital graphics through their smartphone camera.[8]
