Student Council Morning Assembly Duties

The members of the student are assigned duties for the week at Saturday or Sunday by whatsapp. The duties are assigned by 2 members of the EXCO. The members who are assigned their duty carry out their duties for a week and help find replacements if unable to perform their duties for that day. The members who carry their duties must report to their locations 5 minutes before the start of morning assembly (except for IC duty).

IC Duty

This duty is performed by 2 members of the EXCO before the start of the morning assembly. The EXCOs performing this duty ensures that everyone else is at their positions before morning assembly starts.

Patrolling duty

This duty is performed by 2 members of the EXCO. The EXCOs performing this duty check each class in the school during morning assembly (except for days where the students assemble in class) for any students there and ask them to return to the hall. They first assemble the assembly venue and leave after the national anthem, pledge and school song.

Announcer duty

This duty is performed by 2 female student council members at the stage in the hall or at the front of the parade square. The announcers recite the national pledge to the school during morning assembly. They take turns on who recites the pledge and decide who will recite that day. The other announcer remains on the other side of the stage or beside the main announcer in the parade square. If the students assemble in class, one of announcers goes to the general office to recite the pledge over the PA system.
