Biomatters

Biomatters is an applied bioinformatics company that creates sequence analysis solutions. Biomatters is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand with offices in the United States and Europe and was founded in 2003 to create bioinformatics solutions for the analysis, interpretation, and application of molecular sequence data.

Software

Biomatters flagship software offering is Geneious a suite of molecular biology and NGS analysis tools. Geneious has users in more than 100 countries worldwide in over 3,000 universities, research institutes and companies.

Awards

Biomatters has won a number of awards including:

  • 2009: Recruit IT Innovative Software Product Award at the PriceWaterhouseCoopers Hi-Tech Awards[1]
