Bill Wackermann is the Chief Executive Officer for Wihelmina International Inc. (Wilhelmina Models) in New York City.[1][2] In 2014 he wrote “Flip the Script: How to Turn the Tables and Win in Business and Life” (Simon & Schuster).[3][4] In 2017, Rizzoli editorial released the book Wilhelmina: Defining Beauty, which explores Wackermann’s “archetypes of beauty."[5]
Career
Previously, Bill Wackermann served as Executive Vice President and Publishing Director at Conde Nast Traveler.[6][7] In 2002 he was named Magazine Publisher of the Year by The Delaney Report.[8][9] Wackermann became Chief Executive Officer at Wilhelmina Models in 2016.[2][10] He subsequently signed various artists to the company including Nicki Minaj, Kacy Hill, Leona Lewis, Shawn Mendes, Dustin Lance Black, Machine Gun Kelly, and Hopper Penn.[11][12] Wackermann also signed former One Direction singer Niall Horan, [13] and country music singer Maren Morris to Wilhelmina’s roster.[14] Wackermann is featured in the new commemorative publication by Rizzoli, Wilhelmina: Defining Beauty, which reveals images of some of Wilhelmina’s best-known models.[15]
He is the father of Theodore, Hugh, and Helena Wackerman
