William Joseph "Bill" Roberts (March 3, 1925 – January 23, 2016)[1] was an American professional basketball player. He was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

He was awarded a varsity letter by the University of Wyoming for the 1945-46, helping the Cowboys to a Mountain States Athletic Conference (MSAC) conference title and an NCAA appearance. The Cowboys were 22-4 with a MSAC record of 10-2.[2] His NBA career lasted from 1948 to 1950.
