Bill House

William Pendleton House, (1914–1997) known as Bill House, was an American climber. Along with Fritz Wiessner in 1936 he was the first person to climb Mount Waddington in Canada, a mountain on which there had previously been sixteen unsuccessful attempts. On K2 he was first to climb House's Chimney, which was named after him, when he free-climbed it in 1938.[1][2][3][4]
