Bihpur is a Block in Bhagalpur district of Bihar, India. It is one of the sixteen block under Bhagalpur district.
As per constitution of India and Panchyati Raaj Act, Bihpur village is administrated by Sarpanch (Head of Village) who is elected representative of village. Most of the people in the village are dependent on agriculture.
A Bam Kali temple of the village is the main attraction here.Here on every Diwali the main pooja is organised by the villagers.
History
Bihpur had the history of an active participation during Satyagrah. On hearing the tale of police terrorism in 1930 during Satyagrah movement, Dr Rajendra Prasad hurried to the place.
