Bhavikeri is a village in the southern state of Karnataka, India.[1][2] It is located in the Ankola taluk of Uttara Kannada district in Karnataka.

Demographics

As of 2001 India census, Bhavikeri had a population of 7816 with 3927 males and 3889 females.The village has a beautiful relaxing plain straight beach. There are 2-3 notable ponds including mankeri and dundagana kere. Main occupation: Agriculture,animal husbandry and poultry,teaching,carpentry, daily wagers,taxi drivers,truck mentors ,mining etc. Communities inhabited:Nadavaru, namadhari , shetty, aacahri, ager, gowda.
