Between the Heart and the Synapse (2005) is the first album from Boston, Massachusetts based band The Receiving End of Sirens. Between The Heart... is a concept album, due to lyrical and musical repetition in an effort to unify the body of work as a whole (though not to suggest plot).

Release

The album had singles and videos of the songs "Planning A Prison Break" and "This Armistice". Their debut single received a moderate amount of airplay on MTVU and Fuse. In late 2010, a double LP of the album was released that includes a brand new song and live videos from Skatefest' that same year. Between late March and early May 2006, the band went on a headlining tour of the US.[1]
