Jocelyne Betty Okagua Apiafi (born 19 February 1962) is a Nigerian economist, retired banker, school teacher and politician. In the 2007 general elections, she was elected to the Nigerian House of Representatives as a candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the federal constituency of Abua—Odual—Ahoada East. She was subsequently re-elected in the 2011 and 2015 general elections.[1]
Early life and education
Apiafi was born on 19 February 1962. She earned a bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Port Harcourt and a master's degree from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology.[2]
apiafi is also a co-owner of brookstone schools portharcourt. it is a school that has both primary and secondary extensions with international ties.
