Jimmie Allen is an American country music singer.

Allen is a native of Delaware and moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2007.[1] During most of his first few years in Nashville, he experienced poverty and often lived out of his car.[2]

There, he worked as a songwriter, including a song that appeared in a Super Bowl commercial. In 2017, he signed to Broken Bow Records' Stoney Creek imprint and released his self-titled debut EP,[3] which Stephen Thomas Erlewine of AllMusic compared to the "slick, assured style" of Thomas Rhett and Sam Hunt.[4]

A song from the EP, "Blue Jean Baby", became a viral hit on Spotify.[1] His first official single, "Best Shot", has made the Country Airplay charts and was made into a music video.[5]
