Bernie Dexter (born January 13, 1970) is an American model and fashion designer. She is also a pin-up model, published in many magazines.

Early career

Bernadette Souza was born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania.[1] When she was 19, she won Miss Teen San Diego County and initially pursued a career in acting and modelling.[2]

Career

In 2009, she created a pinup-inspired clothing line recreating many of the vintage styles she's modeled over the years. In 2017, Bernie opened a shop in the UK and has since diversified her purist, retro-rockabilly roots by selling more contemporary styles made by various designers from India. You can find her most days taking selfies at her store in Leigh-on-Sea.

Personal life

Dexter is married to Levi Dexter, former lead singer of 1970s rockabilly band Levi and the Rockats.[3] Her husband is her regular photographer.[4]
