Benny Lekström (born 19 February 1981), is a Swedish football goalkeeper who plays for Hammarby IF in Allsvenskan.
He has previously played for Enskede IK, IF Brommapojkarna, FK Mjølner, Tromsø IL and IK Sirius.
Career
Born in Enskede, Sweden, Lekström played for Hammarby IF from 2005 to 2007, and left Hammarby on a free transfer to IF Brommapojkarna, where he played from 2008 to 2010.[1] After one season in the Norwegian club Mjølner, Lekstrøm signed a two-year deal with Tromsø on 19 October 2011, starting from January 2012.
He represented IK Sirius during one season in 2016, before leaving the club by mutual consent.[2]
On 14 July 2017, Lekström returned to Hammarby on a six month-contract.[3]
