Benjamin Thaw Sr.

Benjamin Thaw Sr. (March 24, 1859 August 20, 1933) was a Pittsburgh banker and philanthropist.[1]

Biography

Benjamin Thaw was the son of William Thaw Sr., who with his wife, Elma Ellsworth Dows, he had the following children: Rev. Stephen Dows Thaw (1887–?), Benjamin Thaw Jr. (1888–1937), Henrietta Thaw (1891–1942), William Thaw II (1893–1934), and Alexander Blair Thaw (1895–1918).[1][2][3]
