Benchmarx is a British home-improvement retailer specialising in Kitchens and Joinery. Based in Northampton they operate from approximately 190 branches with around 1000 employees. Benchmarx (formerly known as FOX KITCHENS AND JOINERY LIMITED) was acquired in June 2006 by Travis Perkins and was subsequently re-branded with the name "Benchmarx".
History
The company was originally known as "PENDLECREST LIMITED" and was founded in January 1993 however in just March 1993 the company name was changed to "ANTHONY HORTON LIMITED" and this name stuck until March 2006 where they were then known as "FOX KITCHENS AND JOINERY LIMITED" for just one month before being acquired by the Travis Perkins Group.
