Ben Macpherson MSP is a Scottish solicitor and politician. He is the Scottish National Party (SNP) Member of Scottish Parliament (MSP) for the Edinburgh Northern and Leith constituency. Macpherson was first elected to the Scottish Parliament in the 2016 election.
Macpherson attended George Heriot’s School [1] and graduated from the University of York with a degree in philosophy and politics. He later studied law at the University of Edinburgh.[2]
He became a member of the SNP in 2005.[2]
