Ben Jones (born 26 October 1990) is an Wales amateur snooker player.

Career

Ben Jones participated in the 2012 Q School. He came in the second of three tournaments in the last 16, where he retired. Jones often participated in PTC tournaments and Q School events in the following years, but dropped out early. In the Paul Hunter Classic 2013 he came in the round of the last 64 and got 700 ₤ prize money. Further successes remained for the time being, until he survived the qualification at the Riga Masters 2017 by a 4–1 victory over Mike Dunn. Jones retired in the first round against Tian Pengfei. At the 2017 Paul Hunter Classic Jones defeated German Jiaming Zhang 4–1. In the second qualifying round, Jones lost just 3–4 against the eventual main tournament participant Robert Read.[1] At the Last 128 2018 Paul Hunter Classic defeated former World Champion Peter Ebdon 4–0.
