Bellingshausen Point
Bellingshausen Point (54°3′S 37°14′W / 54.050°S 37.233°WCoordinates: 54°3′S 37°14′W / 54.050°S 37.233°W) is a headland marking the east side of the entrance to Sea Leopard Fjord in the Bay of Isles, South Georgia. It was charted in 1912–13 by Robert Cushman Murphy, American naturalist aboard the brig Daisy, who named it for Admiral Thaddeus Bellingshausen.
