The Belarusian Men's Handball Championship is the national league for team handball in Belarus. The current champions are HC Meshkov Brest, who won 9th title in 2016/17 season. The record-holding champions are SKA Minsk with 10 championships.

2017-18 Season
In contrast to previous 3 seasons, 26th season is held in new format. Main changes are next:

- No more Playoffs
- Defending champion starts season from the 1st stage
First stage
Teams were divided into 2 groups:
- Group 1 (Main teams): HC Meshkov Brest, SKA Minsk, GK Gomel, Kronon Grodno, Masheka Mogilev, Vityaz Minsk
- Group 2 (Farm teams): Meshkov Brest 2, RCOR, SKA-RGUOR, SKA-Suvorov, GK Gomel 2, Kronon Grodno 2.
During this stage each team plays the others 4 times.

Second stage
According to the results of the 1st stage will be formed 3 groups:
- Group A: first 4 places of Group 1 (results from the 1st stage will be saved);
- Group B: rest teams of Group 1, 1st place of Group 2 and Belarus national handball U-18 team (on a non-competitive basis);
- Group C: rest teams of Group 2 (results from the 1st stage will be saved).
During this stage each team will play the others:
- Group A: 4 times
- Group B: 4 times in "Final Four"-format
- Group C: 2 times
At the end of the stage will be determined places of the season:
- Group A: from 1st to 4th;
- Group B: from 5th to 7th;
- Group C: from 8th to 12th.
