Beaufortia pingi is a species of river loach (family Balitoridae[2][3] or Gastromyzontidae,[4] depending on the source). It occurs in China (Yunnan and Guangxi[1]) and Vietnam.[3] It inhabits fast-flowing hill streams[1] and grows to 5 cm (2.0 in) standard length.[3]
