Batas Militar (lit. Martial Law) is a 1997 Philippine documentary film produced by Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala about martial law in the Philippines. It is the most expansive documentary film produced in the Philippines. The documentary was released on September 21, 1997 and was aired on ABS-CBN, ABS-CBN News Channel and Knowledge Channel. The documentary was released on VHS and DVD.
Synopsis
It features the human rights violations during martial law, economy and biographies of Ferdinand Marcos, Imelda Marcos and Benigno Aquino Jr.
