Basvaraj Patil Sedam (born 10 February 1944) is a Member of Rajya Sabha [1] from Karnataka.[2] He was the Secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party and president of the Bharatiya Janata Party Karnataka unit. He was elected as a member of the 12th Lok Sabha from Gulbarga.[3][4]

Family and personal life

Basvaraj Patil Sedam was born to Shrimati Shankramma and Shri Ganpath Rao on 10 February 1944 in Tarnalli, Gulbarga district Karnataka.He completed his Bachelor of Science from the Government Degree College, Gulbarga.He is married to Baswalingamma.[5]
