Basant Narain Singh

Maharaj KumarBasant Narain Singh ( b. at Padma Palace, Hazaribagh District, April 9, 1918 ) was an Indian politician and was member of the 7th Lok Sabha representing Hazaribagh (Lok Sabha constituency) of Bihar State.He belonged to the royal family of Ramgarh Raj and was from the Narain Dynasty.

He was also elected as member of the 3rd, 4th, and 6th Lok Sabha of Indian Parliament. He was Member of Bihar State Legislative Assembly during 1952-62 and 1967-74.

He married late Kuwarani Vijaya Raje of Dhar State.They were blessed with Maharaj Kumar M. Narain Singh and Kuwarani Bhawna Raje. Their residence being at Raja Kothi in Hazaribhag.

He was younger brother of Maharaja Kamakhya_Narain_Singh Bahadur of Ramgarh Raj and son of late Raja Lakshmi Narain Singh. [1]
