The barwings are the genus Actinodura of passerine birds in the Leiothrichidae family. They are found in the hills of southern Asia from India east to China and Taiwan.
The genus contains seven species:[1]
- Rusty-fronted barwing (Actinodura egertoni)
- Spectacled barwing (Actinodura ramsayi)
- Black-crowned barwing (Actinodura sodangorum)
- Hoary-throated barwing (Actinodura nipalensis)
- Streak-throated barwing (Actinodura waldeni)
- Streaked barwing (Actinodura souliei)
- Taiwan barwing (Actinodura morrisoniana)
