Bartosz Kwolek (born 17 July 1997) is a Polish volleyball player, a member of Poland men's national under-19 volleyball team and Polish club ONICO Warszawa, 2018 World Champion, U19 European Champion 2015, U19 World Champion 2015, U20 European Champion 2016, U21 World Champion 2017.

Career

On April 12, 2015 Poland men's national under-19 volleyball team, including Kwolek, won title of U19 European Champion 2015. They beat in final Italy U19 (3–1).[1][2] He was the Most Valuable Player of the tournament. He took part in European Youth Olympic Festival with Polish national U19 team. On August 1, 2015 he achieved gold medal (final match with Bulgaria 3–0).[3] On August 23, 2015 Poland achieved first title of U19 World Champion. In the finale his team beat hosts - Argentina (3–2).[4] On September 10, 2016 he achieved title of the 2016 CEV U20 European Champion after winning 7 of 7 matches in tournament and beating Ukraine U21 in the finale (3–1).[5] Also, Kwolek received individual award for the Best Outside Hitter. On July 2, 2017 Poland U21, including Kwolek, achieved title of U21 World Champion 2017 after beating Cuba U21 in the finale (3–0).[6][7] Kwolek was awarded an individual award for the Best Outside Spiker of the whole tournament.[8] His national team won 48 matches in the row and never lost.[9] The U21 World Champion title ended up his time in youth national teams.

He debuted in 2016–17 PlusLiga as player of AZS Politechnika Warszawska. In the following season, his team was doing great, and he was one of the main players. In February 2018, when ONICO Warszawa occupied the third place in the league, Kwolek signed the next two-year contract.[10]

On September 30, 2018 Poland achieved title of the 2018 World Champion[11]. Poland beat Brazil in the finale 3-0 and defended the title from 2014.
