Barbara Stripling
Barbara Stripling is an American librarian and served as President of the American Library Association from 2013 to 2014.[1] During her term as president, she stressed that "Libraries Change Lives."[2]
Career
Stripling currently serves as Senior Associate Dean at Syracuse University in the School of Information Studies.[3] She had previously served as Assistant Professor of Practice at Syracuse University.[4] She started her career as a school librarian.

- 2017 recipient of the Joseph W. Lippincott Award from the American Library Association.
