Barbara Lazaroff

Barbara Ellen Lazaroff (Born New York, NY) is primarily known as a designer and restaurateur. The best example of her design work is the original Spago, done in collaboration with her former partner Wolfgang Puck, which won the James Beard Foundation's Best Restaurant Award[1] in 1994. With this project, Lazaroff launched a new concept in kitchen design by creating the first exhibition kitchen in an American fine dining restaurant, now a widely popular style. Other design projects include Chinois on Main, Trattoria del Lupo, Postrio Bar & Grill and Granita.

In addition to her restaurant and design work, Lazaroff holds film credits as a producer and writer for such works as the 2013 documentary, Femme, which featured 100 interviews with prominent women from around the world.[2][3] She also co-authored a book, Wishes for a Mother's Heart, with Tricia LaVoice, and was featured in RenWomen: What Modern Renaissance Women Have to Teach Us About Living Rich Fulfilling Lives, co-written by Dale Griffths Stamos and W. Scott Griffiths.[4][5]
