Barazai

Coordinates: 33°55′16″N 72°32′31″E / 33.92111°N 72.54194°E / 33.92111; 72.54194 Barazai is a village situated in the east of Chach Valley of Attock District in northern Punjab, Pakistan.[1] Its altitude is 315 metres (1036 feet).

Demographics

Barazai is the biggest village of the Union Council Malak Mala with a population of nearly 16,000. Taxila, one of the ancient historical places of Indian history is only 22 miles away from it.[2]

Saint of Village

Saafiullah was a spiritual guide of Barazai Shareef. His spiritual guide was Sani Sahib of Manki Shareef. His Mazaar is located in Masjid Baba Ji Sahib Barazai. Every year on the 28th of Ramadan his urs is celebrated.[3]
