Bangladeš (Serbian Cyrillic: Бангладеш) is a suburban settlement of the city of Novi Sad, Serbia. It is situated between Novi Sad and the village of Rumenka.
Population
Bangladeš is populated by about 250 ethnic Romani people. According to another source, Bangladeš is populated by 233 inhabitants, who live in 55 families.
Name
The settlement's name is the Serbian name for Bangladesh. The name has a connection with the Bengali peoples origin in South Asia, particularly from Bangladesh.
