Bander Abdulrahman Al-Mohanna (Arabic: بندر عبدالرحمن المهنا) is a Saudi Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of NAS Air (Flynas), a low cost airline in Saudi Arabia.[1][2][3][4]

Early Life & education

Bander did his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from King Saud University, Riyadh in 1993. after that he went to USA and did MBA from the American University, Washington, D.C. in 1998. He has also did an Advanced Management Program at Harvard University.[3][5]

Career

In 2003 Bandar Al-Mohanna was Chief Financial Analyst at Makshaf Investments and Services to oversee transportation, media, insurance and real estate of the group. For eleven years, Al-Mohanna held several positions in the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (Central Bank of Saudi Arabia), including the Banking Supervision Department.[1] Since taking his first position as Chief Financial Officer at National Air Services (NAS) in 2006, in 2007 Bandar Al-Mohanna became Vice Presiden in NAS's, following which he was appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of NAS in 2015. Through his various positions at Nas Holding, Nasir has been in charge of Nas Holding, which includes Nas Air, the Saudi national carrier and Nas Aviation for Hajj and Umrah. Bander Al Muhanna played a key role in the development of the various subsidiaries and brands listed under NAS Holding especially NAS. [6]

He is the Chairman of Jazal Arabia Commercial Investments (Closed Joint Stock) and Adlas Holding Company & member of the Board of Directors of companies, including Nas Holding, Arab Training and Education Group, NAS XoJet, Scope of Actuarial Services.

  • Middle East's Leading Low Cost Airline Award from the World Travel Awards for four consecutive years in 2015,2016,2017 and 2018. [7][6]
