The Band of the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan (Uzbek:O'zbekiston Respublikasi Ichki ishlar vazirligi akademiyasi orkestri) is linked to the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan. The band was officially founded in 1981. Since 2014, the band has been under the musical leadership of director of music K. Alimov.

A military band was created in 1981 at the Tashkent MVD High School, with some cadets of the school joining the band immediately. The band began to participate in organized events in the school in 1982 academic year. In 1992, Lieutenant Khasan Nazarov took control of the band, being the first director of the band following the Fall of the Soviet Union and the independence of Uzbekistan. The Tashkent MVD High School, which was later converted into the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, replaced members of the staff with professional Uzbek musicians in 2004.

Currently, the band is performs during the daily morning assembly for cadets, as well as participates in all events held at the academy, including oath taking ceremonies, and graduation ceremonies. The band regularly prepares concert programs on holidays such as, Defender of the Motherland Day on January 14, Victory Day on May 9, and Independence Day on September 1.[1]
