Banco do Brasil Americas, previously known as EuroBank, is a Florida based bank subsidiary of Banco do Brasil, with operations in in the United States. It emerged in 2012 with the acquisition of Coral Gables-based EuroBank in April 2011.[2]
All of its branches are in the state of Florida (Miami, Doral, Pompano Beach, Boca Raton, Orlando and West Boca Raton). It offers banking services to individuals and legal entities, including investment options, credit cards and loans.
It is a small bank, ranking 1,738 in the ranking of the largest banks in the United States. It has, however, good financial health, ranked among the 200 healthiest banks in the country.[3]
History
The bank was established in 1986 as EuroBank (EB).
It was acquired by Banco do Brasil in 2012.[2]
