Bambino was third EP by French vocalist Dalida. It is named after the title song Bambino that was her first major hit. This EP was released in 1956, prior to her 1957 album Son nom est Dalida.[1] The EP spent 45 weeks in the Top 10.[2]

Description

Bambino was Dalida's first major hit, spending 45 weeks as number 1 in French charts, and topped charts of several other countries.[2]

The song is a French version of the Neapolitan song Guaglione. It also received release on the album Son nom est Dalida in 1957.[1] It was covered in Algerian Arabic by Jean Dujardin, for soundtrack of OSS 117: Cairo, Nest of Spies.
